Option 4 would make sense, but I would rather change the exponential so you dont have to play for 20k hours to complete the game xD, but you could make it start increasing by 0.2 each 10 levels after 100 and that would essentially solve this.

What good is it to you if you get a exp table that you perfer but you have no one to play with? Maple story is a social game at the end of the day.
We need to keep the conversation grounded to SERVER SUCCESS, and not personal preference/convenience.
If you're a try hard and want a pure 1x the server, then the server will eventually have a sub 100 population and be a single player game thus killing the server.
If you're a casual player and want things handed to you(fast progression) then you will naturally find no meaning or value on playing the server because everything is easy, and you will eventually quit. This leads to an unstable server population as well.

I think option 4 is a balanced option between casual and try hard. 2x at 100+ is reasonable because if your pushing 100+ in the first place you should be somewhat of a try hard player ,and 2x at 100+ is still not a walk in the park.
